Success!

It makes me SO HAPPY when an entire kiln load turns out so perfectly. (Well, except for one mug whose slip cracked a bit in the bottom....)

These pots are all being set aside for "Coterie" in Sperryville.  Hopefully the proprietor will be coming by this week to choose what she wants for her shop....

I love this one.  I can't decide if I will hang on to it for the festivals or send it on it's way.....

This picture is a bit dark but I made this at the time that I made all the mugs with the buff clay and just now got around to glazing it.  It too ranks up there as one of my favorites.

Now off to walk Layla and then back to the studio!

I vote hang on to the one you love for a little while. I just shipped off a favorite plate and it actually hurt a wee bit.

I was thinking that too Barbara....it would be nice to sit with it for a couple of weeks. :)

I agree, I really like the one with the cows around the rim. Well done and congratulations on the successful firing.

It's all so adorable!! I love the menagerie one...they look so happy together :) My mom would especially love that cow plate! It's so cute! If I ever win the lottery I'll commission you to make an entire set of dishes for my mom and myself. Love it all to pieces!

These are delightful! You have a talent for catching wonderful expressions and body language.

I would keep the favorite; you can always sell it if you change your mind!

They did come out fantastic. I agree with Barbara and the others that say to hang on to it for a little while. You can always send it away after you've had some time to enjoy it.

I am busy tagging the things going to the gallery...the group plate is still sitting off to the side... :)

Everything is so cute! I agree with everyone else - keep the one that is making you happy - I think you'll like having it around a bit :) I love the expressions and life you put into the critters.
