Our Morning Walk

Layla and I walk a two mile loop nearly every day.  If it weren't for her I don't know if I would be so regular about it.  Even if it is good for me.  And it isn't just the exercise.  This time of year it's the beauty all around us that helps your heart as much as the motion.

Kenmore, George Washington's sister's house.  Years ago I worked there as a guide and later the guide supervisor.  I thought it was my dream job.  But it turned out I was wrong!  But it is a beautiful place to work.  And we walk past it nearly every day.

Anna, simply beautiful. One of these years I'll make it to the NE to see it in person. Until then, keep the pics coming. Especially of ever patient Layla!

Anna these photos are GORGEOUS!!! They're making me feel like I should really get out and enjoy the fall colours in my neighbourhood soon :) I'm so glad you shared!

The day I took my camera was so beautiful...but the sun kept on hiding when I wanted to take a picture! I am surprised I was able to capture how beautiful the colors were this year.

How pretty is your walk!
I need help getting out the door so I now have Mark going with me. It is hard to go alone.
